The challenges outlined above poses serious implications to the nation’s socio-economic landscape of the future, if they remain unaddressed. The challenges will hinder the nation’s progress to achieve its social, economic, and sustainable development goals, be it internal goals or goals set at the global stage, as well as engender the less desirable outcome scenarios outlined in families of the future.
Strategic Framework
In order to address the downside risks to unsustainable population development, the following strategic framework is proposed. The implementation framework will also be used to develop recommendations to address the respective challenges identified within each pillar.
