To better understand family wellbeing in the standpoint of certain characteristics, FWBI 2016 has obtained the indicator scores according to selected characteristics as follows:
The nuclear family consists of members related by blood, marriage or adoption. It comprises a husband, wife and never married children.
The extended family consists of a nuclear family, including parents or married children or related members. It comprises a husband, wife, children and grandfather, grandmother or other relatives.
The single household member consists of one member who makes provisions for his or her food or other essentials for living without combining with other member.
The blended family consists of two parents and their children from previous marriages.
